Mikel Arteta has urged Arsenal fans to rally around his players following the club’s elimination from the FA Cup at the hands of Liverpool.
Asked if the Gunners will sign a new striker this month, the manager said: “At the moment it doesn’t look realistic. My job is to improve the players we have.
“One thing is what we can do: we need to stay behind those players.
“Gabriel Jesus injury? Hopefully it’s not anything big but we had a scan and we couldn’t take a risk”.
The defeat against Liverpool means the Gunners have picked up just one win in six games. They have scored just thrice in those games.
