Clark’s rookie season with the Fever still has a long way to go.

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (KCRG) – Caitlin Clark was tearing up college basketball about a month ago, but all the accolades she received in college don’t carry over to the WNBA – there’s a lot to learn.

“Obviously the physicality is up there. I think I let people be physical with me so it’s probably something that I need to work be working on,” Clark said. “The game probably seems a little fast for me right now. I think the more I play the more comfortable, like I get it’s gonna slow down a little bit.”

“We are young team and it’s still a process, but at the end of the day you have to have some pride, and I just feel like tonight like we’ve gotta do a better job,” said Fever head coach Christie Sides after the Fever’s 102-66 loss to the New York Liberty. “(Clark) is our point guard so now our players who have been here, it takes time to get used to how she plays, it takes time for her to get used to how they play.”

The Fever will try to earn their first win of the season when they face the Liberty again on Saturday at noon. The game can be seen on KCRG-TV9.
