Malik Tillman, Former Rangers Star, Might Make A Big Money Transfer

Former Rangers loanee Malik Tillman could join PSV Eindhoven in January after admitting he is enjoying life at the club.

The on-loan Bayern Munich ace was a key player for the Ibrox side last season, but the deal to make the loan to Scottish football permanent fell through this summer after the German giants rethought their options and sent him to the Eredivisie with Rangers’ Champions League rivals PSV instead.

American international Tillman has flourished after recovering from injury and has scored five goals and made three assists in the 13 league appearances he’s made.

Now PSV reportedly want to make the move permanent in January and Tillman has hinted he would love to complete a transfer to the Netherlands.

He said: “I have really enjoyed my time at PSV from day one. It was the right move for me after Rangers. The manager, the team, and the attacking style of play suit me.

“We also play in the Champions League and that was a very important condition for me. And we are also fighting for the title. That constantly requires a certain mindset.

“I want to develop further in Eindhoven and who knows what will be possible next. I don’t know what will happen – that depends on PSV and Bayern.

“But if PSV activates the purchase option, I don’t think I have much to complain about. Then I would be playing at a high level at PSV, I want to get better and ultimately take a step up again.”

Meanwhile, Juventus are closely monitoring Scotland international Lewis Ferguson, according to a report.

The Serie A giants are said to be in hot pursuit of the former Aberdeen and Hamilton midfielder.

The 24-year-old moved to Italy over two years ago to join Bologna and has taken to football on the continent like a duck to water.

Son of former Rangers player Derek and nephew to ex-Gers and Scotland captain Barry, Ferguson became the joint-highest scoring Scot in Italy’s top flight this season.
