College Basketball Show: latest intel on best available players from high school and the portal

This week’s 247Sports College Basketball Show was loaded with inside information about the best players left on the board in both the transfer portal and the high school…

The portal closes in just one week, but that is only a deadline for when players can enter, not for when they have to make their commitment by. In this episode we dive into some of the best available with national recruiting analyst Travis Branham, including the likes of Johnell Davis, Javon Small, Jonas Aidoo, Adou Thiero, Ugonna Onyenso, Brandon Garrison, and others.

When national basketball director Eric Bossi joined the show, we talked about some of the best available high school players, a list that includes the likes of Labaron Philon, Jayden Quaintance, Boogie Fland, and Liam McNeeley. We also explore chances that Brayden Burries reclassifies from 2025 to 2024 and give an update on AJ Dybantsa, the top ranked sophomore in the country.

Finally, while there is an abundance of talent still on the board, many programs have already done well in the portal and we so 247Sports national basketball writer Isaac Trotter dove into what he likes about Indiana, Kansas, Xavier, and Michigan to date, as well as what Duke and Kentucky are still looking to accomplish.

The show can be viewed in its entirety below.
