Following a one-point loss to North Melbourne in their last outing, the Lions will be looking to jump back in the winner’s circle against the Cats.

In their first loss of the 2024 Smithy’s VFL season, the Lions rued missed chances in front of goal but VFL coach, Ben Hudson is confident his side can bounce back.

“Definitely not the result we wanted on Sunday but there are plenty of positives to take away from it,” Hudson said.

“We played really well for a large proportion of the game but just couldn’t finish our work in front of goal, but we’re presented with a new challenge this weekend which we are fully prepared for.

“Geelong have always been a really strong club across all of their teams, so it should be a great contest and to be back in front of our home fans is great as well.”
