Nottingham Forest v Wolves: Premier League injury news as five out and three doubts

Wolves travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday, April 13.

Gary O’Neil suffered a defeat to his former club last weekend as West Ham inflicted a 2-1 defeat. Pablo Sarabia opened the scoring but Luas Paqueta and James Ward-Prowse gave the Hammers the win.

Forest suffered a 3-1 defeat to Spurs. Chris Wood got themselves back on level terms after Murillo scored an own goal but Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro scored early in the second half to secure victory.

Wolves are 11th following the latest round of results whilst Forest are 17th after Everton were reduced two points. A win for Forest this weekend would move them above the Toffees whilst Wolves could go as high as ninth.

Nuno Espirito Santo is denied a return to Molineux after leaving to become manager of Spurs and later Al-Ittihad. He along with O’Neil have some team dilemmas to address. Here is the latest injury and team news ahead of the pre-match press conferences.

Wolves team news

Pedro Neto will likely miss most if not the rest of the season. He suffered a hamstring injury that Gary O’Neil said could last nine weeks. Neto is now rehabbing as he aims to return before EURO 2024.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is another absentee. He has a knee injury that has him out longer than expected. Bellegarde was meant to return against Villa or shortly after but that hasn’t been the case.

A new blow for Wolves is an injury to Rayan Ait-Nouri. The Algerian defender has some pain in his calf and he was withdrawn from the action at the weekend. He’s a doubt.

Hee-Chan Hwang could make a return this weekend. He’s been out with a hamstring injury and Saturday’s game is the earliest opportunity for him to play. My

Out: Pedro Neto, Jean Ricner-Bellegarde. Doubt: Hee-Chan Hwang and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
