Tennessee Titans’ Three Key Players Have Been Ruled Out Due To Injuries

The Tennessee Titans released their Week 11 injury report on Friday, following their final practice session of the week before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars. Three players have already been ruled out, and two are still questionable.

Treylon Burks will miss another game due to a concussion. Left tackle Andre Dillard was also ruled out due to a concussion. Sean Murphy-Bunting, the Titans’ starting cornerback, recently underwent thumb surgery, and while he is able to practice, the team has decided to keep him out for another week.

As for the players with questionable designations heading into Saturday, starting right guard Daniel Brunskill was limited throughout the week with an ankle injury, but seems like he is trending towards playing. The Titans picked up former Panthers starting guard Calvin Throckmorten this week. Throckmorton has started six games this season and is set to fill in if Brunskill can’t go.

Special teams stalwart and linebacker Luke Gifford will also be questionable with a shin injury. Gifford may play a lesser role on defense, but his impact on special teams can surely be felt. The Titans will need all the help they can get on the road.

It also looks like Ryan Tannehill will return this week and serve as the backup quarterback. Tannehill suffered an ankle injury in Week 6 that ultimately led to him losing his job to rookie Will Levis.
