Mohamed Diomande will fly into Glasgow to complete a move to Rangers later today.
That’s according to journalist Chris Jack, who made the claim on his official X account ahead of the highly anticipated signing of the FC Nordsjælland midfielder.

Should the deal go through, it will be Rangers’ second signing of the January transfer window with the club already securing a six-month loan for Wolves attacker Fabio Silva.
Reports have suggested that Rangers have struck a £4.5m deal with the Danes for the transfer of Mohamed Diomande, who is a graduate of the the Right to Dream Academy.
The Ivorian talent, 22, came through the ranks at the Ghanaian youth football project before spending four years in Denmark, where he has made over 110 appearances.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement faced the press as the reports around Diomande continue to swirl but the Ibrox boss was giving nothing away to journalists.
Asked specifically about a potential move for the midfielder, Clement told the press ahead of the clash with Hibs that he would not be commenting on any “rumours”.
“No, I don’t speak about any rumours,” said Clement. “Because there’s been, how many? 50 names already the last couple of weeks?
“I can’t say we were not interested in all those players. So if you start to talk about one rumour, you need to talk about the other rumour, and then I’m only busy with that and not making trainings any more or looking at players or talking with players or talk with my own players, so I’m doing a different job.
“So I never do that, that’s the best way.”
The Rangers manager was also asked about the expensive outlay attached to the Mohamed Diomande deal and had some interesting things to say about the club’s player trading model.
“Everybody is very ambitious to let the team grow, to make the team better and to make the right transfers,” said Clement.
“Is it for short term to help the team the next six months? Is it for long-term also to get an investment back in long-term?
“For players to come in and to have impact but who can grow also and are part of the club that you can sell afterwards.”
Rangers close in on January transfer number two
With Rangers now closing in on Mohamed Diomande fans can reportedly expect an announcement today in what is a potentially exciting signing for the club.
For that outlay Diomande is being signed to play and perhaps Philippe Clement has finally got his left-sided midfielder to partner John Lundstram in the middle of the park.
A versatile midfield player who leans more into the offensive side of the game, Rangers appear to have struck a deal for a youngster who is a burgeoning talent in the European game.
It’s a player that one ex-Rangers star in Ryan Kent is also very familiar with.
The club will hope that Mohamed Diomande develops even further at Rangers before eventually cashing in on a big money move to a top-five league.
The likes of Ajax have already banked big on Right to Dream Academy talents, selling Mohammed Kudus to West Ham in the summer, so there is precedent.
Attentions will then turn to who Rangers try to sign next as they look bolster their squad, with as many as three new additions strongly mooted in the press.
