Nottingham Forest are one of the clubs in the picture to sign Juventus’s Douglas Luiz this summer.

Tuttosport covers the latest on Nottingham Forest’s efforts to try and sign the midfielder, who has struggled since leaving Aston Villa for the Serie A side a year ago.
The Brazil international’s poor form hasn’t put off Nottingham Forest as the report states they are in negotiations with his agent and Juventus.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are facing ‘two main challenges’ to move forward with this operation. The first is to convince the player to accept a move and the second is to agree terms with the Turin club.
The Reds failed to qualify for the Champions League and their officials are working to try and convince Luiz and his entourage. Juventus also believe lack of regular minutes this season can impact the 27-year-old’s place in the Brazil squad for the next World Cup.
Tuttosport say it’s important for the club to part ways with Luiz as it’s needed for them to sign Sporting’s Morten Hjulmand, who is a dream target for Comolli and Igor Tudor.
There’s no mention of the fee needed to convince Juve to sanction a move.
Friday’s edition of Corriere Torino, a newspaper local to Juve, reports on their asking price and states Nottingham Forest are in pole position to sign Luiz.
The South American earlier skipper training, which didn’t please Juve general manager Damien Comolli. He was critical of Luiz’s behaviour and reveals the player had to issue an apology to the club.
“No one can disrespect Juventus. I think Douglas made a mistake by not showing up at the meeting, he acknowledged it and made himself available to the club,” he said.
The newspaper insists Comolli’s comments basically translates into Luiz being ‘fined and [he] will be sold’. Nottingham Forest are the only interested party named and are said to be in pole to secure the Brazilian’s services.
