Ranking our 6 favorite options for the Steelers at WR in 2025

Ranking the Steelers’ Top 6 WR Options for 2025

As the Pittsburgh Steelers head into the 2025 offseason, one of their biggest priorities will be strengthening the wide receiver corps. With Diontae Johnson’s contract situation uncertain and George Pickens needing a true complement, the Steelers have several intriguing options via free agency and the draft. Here’s a ranking of their top six potential targets.

1. Malik Nabers (LSU – Draft)

If the Steelers want an explosive playmaker, Malik Nabers fits the bill. The LSU star has elite speed, sharp route running, and the ability to dominate after the catch. If Pittsburgh is willing to trade up in the draft, Nabers could be a franchise-altering pick.

2. Mike Evans (Buccaneers – Free Agency)

A proven veteran, Evans would give the Steelers a big-bodied, red-zone target alongside Pickens. His experience and leadership could be invaluable for a young offense.

3. Rome Odunze (Washington – Draft)

Another elite draft prospect, Odunze boasts strong hands and a physical playing style. If he falls to Pittsburgh’s pick range, he’d be a perfect WR2 to balance Pickens’ deep-threat ability.

4. Tee Higgins (Bengals – Free Agency)

It’s unlikely the Bengals let Higgins walk, but if they do, Pittsburgh should be all over him. His size and contested-catch ability make him an ideal complement in the Steelers’ offense.

5. Zay Flowers (Ravens – Trade Target)

If the Ravens decide to move on from Flowers, the Steelers could swoop in. He brings quickness and versatility, much like Diontae Johnson.

6. Adonai Mitchell (Texas – Draft)

Mitchell is a raw but athletic prospect with massive upside. If the Steelers wait until the late first or early second round, he could be a steal.

With these options, Pittsburgh has a golden opportunity to reshape i

ts passing attack for 2025.
