Eli Tomac Secures 53rd 450 Supercross Victory and Takes the Red Plate in San Diego

Eli Tomac delivered a dominant performance at the San Diego Supercross, earning his 53rd career 450SX victory and reclaiming the coveted red plate as the series points leader. The defending champion showcased his trademark speed and consistency at Snapdragon Stadium, leaving no doubt about his intentions to defend his title in the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.

 

Tomac started the night with a strong heat race, securing a top gate pick for the main event. When the gate dropped for the main, Tomac got off to a solid start and quickly settled into a rhythm, making precise passes to take the lead early in the race. Once out front, the Yamaha rider maintained a blistering pace, leaving his rivals to battle for the remaining podium positions.
