Max Verstappen might leave after the season for a good paying job

Max Verstappen Considering Future Beyond F1 Amid Growing Frustrations

In a stunning turn of events, rumors are circulating around the Formula 1 paddock that Max Verstappen, the dominant force in the sport and reigning world champion, may be considering a career shift after the current season. Although Verstappen is locked into a lucrative contract with Red Bull until 2028, sources close to the Dutch driver hint that he may be exploring options beyond F1 due to growing dissatisfaction with the sport’s demands.

Verstappen, who has been outspoken about his concerns regarding F1’s grueling schedule and evolving race formats, recently shared that the sport’s relentless pace could impact his long-term future. “I love racing, but there are aspects of F1 that sometimes make it difficult to stay motivated. With the calendar expanding and new formats constantly being tested, it doesn’t feel like the sport I started in,” Verstappen mentioned in a recent interview.

While Verstappen’s commitment to Red Bull remains firm, industry insiders speculate that Verstappen’s possible exit could be tied to an interest in other forms of motorsport. Endurance racing, including the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, or even sim racing leagues, are reportedly on his radar. These formats would allow him to continue competing at a high level, albeit with a less demanding travel schedule.

The potential departure of Verstappen would leave a significant gap in Formula 1, as he has singlehandedly redefined Red Bull’s success and taken on icons like Lewis Hamilton in his climb to the top. Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has downplayed the speculation, stating that Verstappen is “fully committed” to the team. However, if the Dutch superstar were to pursue a new venture, it could reshape both his career and the future of motorsport.
