£2.95m ace stars: Leeds United’s best and worst performers in entertaining Norwich City draw

Leeds United played out a 1-1 draw with Norwich City on Tuesday night as Daniel Farke returned to his old stomping ground.

Leeds United would have known going into Tuesday night’s game that Norwich City were going to give them a good game and ultimately, a competitive, close-fought tie panned out.

The Whites were pegged back early on as Josh Sargent converted from the penalty spot to give the hosts the lead. The Canaries held this advantage into the half-time break too.

However, on the hour-mark, summer signing Largie Ramazani fired past Angus Gunn to level the scores. Daniel Farke’s side had the better of the remaining 30 minutes in their bid to snatch all three points, but the spoils were shared as it ended level at 1-1.

But who were the best and worst Leeds United performers on the night? We take a look here…

Strongest Leeds United performers

Tuesday night yielded another eye-catching display from forward Wilfried Gnonto. The Italian has been in fine form in the early stages of the new season and he performed well once again versus Norwich City.

He teed up Ramazani’s equaliser and as per WhoScored’s match data, chipped in with a game-high five key passes. Gnonto was unlucky not to score himself after hitting the post early on too.

The contribution of the increasingly impressive Largie Ramazani can’t go unnoticed either. His gola helped salvage a point for Leeds United on what would have been a frustrating night to return with nothing to show for their efforts.
