signing Morato can ‘rise a few more steps’ and increase value at Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest’s first signing on deadline day may have been slightly overshadowed by their second – but defender Morato has nevertheless been tipped to make his mark at the City Ground.

James Ward-Prowse rather dominated the headlines as the summer window drew to a close little more than a week ago. The midfielder, who arrived on loan from West Ham United, is a well-known name for Reds fans.

Morato, by contrast, will have been an unfamiliar one when reports of his move first surfaced. At 23, he is also a fair bit younger than his fellow new recruit and doesn’t have quite the same level of experience

But that potential should make him a good prospect for Forest. He is a player the club had their eye on for a few transfer windows, and they will hope he can go on to make a similar impact to that of countryman Murillo.
