Nottingham Forest had a pretty quiet transfer deadline day choosing to sign two players; Morato from Benfica and James Ward-Prowse on loan from West Ham.
The Reds did try for a number of other players, with a striker the order of the day. Santiago Gimenez, Eddie Nketiah and Omar Marmoush were all targeted at some point but to no avail.
Forest did some really good business during the window and signed 11 new players in total. The club added a nice profile of younger players and ones with resale value for the future.
One sale that Forest completed came when they allowed Odysseas Vlachodimos to leave for Newcastle. Both clubs had PSR criteria to meet and the Reds took Elliot Anderson from the Magpies.
