Manchester United have knocked on the doors of Nottingham Forest to enquire about Danilo’s availability heading into the final weeks of the window.
According to a report from TNT Sport, Manchester United are interested in the services of Danilo and they have approached Nottingham Forest to learn about a potential transfer. While he is a key part of the Tricky Trees’ first team, they are willing to sanction his departure for €40 million.
Danilo made a name for himself while playing for Palmeiras before making the move to the Premier League in the winter of 2023. Nottingham forked out €20 million to add the defensive midfielder to their squad. He has featured in 49 matches for them and has been one of their best performers.
He played a big part in helping them stay in the English top flight. While he still has five years left on his deal, there is no shortage of interest in him. His consistent performances and his huge potential are reasons why some of the best clubs are after his signature.
AC Milan are one of the clubs linked with the Brazil international but the focus is on Manchester United who have been working very hard to secure the services of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. The duo are on the verge of making the move to Old Trafford. Their arrival will significantly bolster their defence and United are also looking to bring in a midfielder before the end of the window.
