Nottingham Forest remain keen on adding more players to their squad this summer despite having already signed six players.
Nuno Espirito Santo has seen his squad bolstered by Evangelos Marinakis ahead of the start of the new Premier League campaign.
But there is still a week to go before Bournemouth pay their visit to the City Ground next Saturday which provides the Reds with time for more signings.
Forest have been one of the busier clubs in the Premier League this summer with plenty of players coming and going.
However, the Reds are still on the search for more attacking reinforcement with Forest showing an interest in the CA Talleres winger Ramon Sosa.
There is another forward who Forest are also keen on, but there could be a big issue with the player having now greenlit a move elsewhere.
Forest see attacking target greenlight move to another club
On Thursday night, Forest were in action in their final pre-season friendly over in Greece against Olympiacos.
During the game, the Reds saw some breaking transfer news emerge with Fabrizio Romano saying Forest had a bid rejected for Porto winger Galeno.
In the hours since, Sky Sports have claimed Forest are now considering an improved bid for Galeno with Porto wanting a bigger offer.
Clearly, there is some strong interest coming from the Reds for the Brazilian, but there may be a significant issue.
The European giants have shown an interest in the Brazilian winger recently but there still remains an issue with the Porto forward.
As Forest know, the Portuguese outfit are looking for a fee in excess of £30m for the 26-year-old winger.
It is claimed Juventus are ready to make their bid for Galeno who Porto feel they may need to sell this summer to balance the books.
