Although the Nottingham Forest’s new Premier League season is just over one week away, there are still a few weeks remaining until the transfer window shuts.
And Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side have been one of the busiest clubs in the league when it comes to bringing in new players.
But that is not going to stop Forest from trying to add more players to their squad on the back of such an underwhelming 2023/24 campaign.
A bright summer has been had on and off the pitch at the City Ground with six new signings already through the door.
It now looks like Evangelos Marinakis is trying to make that seven new faces as Forest are plotting a fresh bid for one of their attacking targets.
Nottingham Forest plotting fresh bid for Brazilian forward
Thursday night certainly turned out to be quite a hectic night when it comes to Forest following their game in Greece.
Nuno’s side ran out 4-3 victors against Olympiacos on the continent but there was more happening away from the action on the pitch.
Fabrizio Romano revealed Forest had seen a bid rejected for the Porto winger Galeno.
This all came about whilst Forest were actually playing over in Greece and, on Friday morning, there has been a fresh update.
According to Sky Sports report Rob Dorsett, Forest are now considering making an improved offer for Galeno.
This comes as Porto value the player in excess of £30m this summer having rejected the first approach from the Reds.
