Nottingham Forest transfer ins and outs as bargains signed and cash raised

Nottingham Forest have overseen some good business so far in the transfer window as they gear up for the 2024/25 season.

The Reds are aiming to kick on in the Premier League this term. And to give themselves the best possible chance of doing so, they know a strong squad is required.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo wants to end the window with a balanced dressing room and sufficient cover across the pitch. There is still some work to be done before deadline day on August 30, but Forest have already put some solid foundations in place.

Ins and outs have been overseen in the past few weeks. The signings made have the makings of being positive ones, while cash has been raised and numbers trimmed with several exits.

Below is a look at the business the club have done up until now. Transfer fees have not always been disclosed or reported upon.

Marko Stamenic – signed from Red Star Belgrade, five-year deal.

Eric da Silva Moreira – signed from St. Pauli, reported £1.25m fee with potential add-ons, four-year contract.

Elliot Anderson – signed from Newcastle United, reported fee in region of £15m as part of Odysseas Vlachodimos deal, five-year contract.

Carlos Miguel – signed from Corinthians, reported £3.4 million release clause, four-year contract.

Nikola Milenkovic – signed from Fiorentina, reported £12m fee with bonuses, five-year contract.

Jota Silva – signed from Vitoria Guimaraes, reported initial £6m fee with potential add-ons, four-year contract.
