Following Manchester United’s interest and Newcastle United’s offer, a £40 million Premier League deal was agreed to.

The Daily Telegraph claimed last month that Newcastle United had offered Elliot Anderson and a cash sum for Kilman, which was rejected by Wolves.

Eddie Howe’s side didn’t return with a second bid with Anderson going on to join Nottingham Forest for £35million. The academy graduate departure was forced after the Magpies needed to raise funds to avoid breaching Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
