£30m winger receives late offer from Nottingham Forest but Everton and Fulham also keen

News seems to be emerging over Ernest Nuamah and Nottingham Forest ahead of the transfer deadline.

The drama is only just beginning and this isn’t really unfamiliar territory for Forest when it comes to business being done at the eleventh hour.

Forest are set to sign James Ward-Prowse from West Ham on a season-long loan, with Morato coming in from Benfica in a permanent deal.

It does look as though Forest have missed out on a striker and in the last few hours, Anthony Elanga has been linked with a move to Newcastle.

Now, a deal is coming to fruition for Nuamah to leave Lyon before the deadline and it would appear he’s not short of offers

Nottingham Forest join race to sign Ernest Nuamah

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Lyon winger now likes the offer on the table for Forest, with the player valued at around £30 million.

However, other reports have suggested that Everton are leading the race – whilst to complicate things further, Fulham are also in the mix.

Harry Watkinson from TEAMtalk has made the claim that Forest have submitted a good offer for Nuamah ahead of the deadline.

He’s claimed that the Reds are in the race to sign the player, wth Everton in the race and the player is not sure which offer he prefers.

It’s all a little complicated at the moment and the story is changing somewhat by the second.

One thing does look certain, however, and that’s Nuamah being a Premier League player by the time the deadline passes tonight.
