The Portuguese star would be a statement signing for Unai Emery and Villa are even prepared to make Felix the club’s highest earner.
But Villa have not put all their eggs in one basket and still have other transfer targets this summer – including at centre-back.

According to Spanish outlet VamosMiSevilla, Monchi – Villa’s President of Football Operations – has identified Loic Bade as a centre-back target.
Diego Carlos has had a disappointing pre-season with Villa and could be headed out the exit door.
